What shipping options do you offer?

We offer free shipping on all US orders. Please allow 1-2 business
days for your order to ship. Typically orders take 2-5 days once shipped to arrive depending on where you live. Business days are Monday-Friday.

worldwide! Additional shipping fees will apply. We typically ship UPS expedited or USPS mail on international orders to surpass any custom or duty fees. In the rare chance there are duty fees upon arrival, the customer is responible for the charges. International orders will take longer to arrive. They typically take 1-4 weeks. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you
feel your package was lost or stolen please contact your post office to open an investigation. We highly encourage your purchase ROUTE protection with your purchase :)

Should I purchase ROUTE protection?

We highly recommend everyone purchases ROUTE purchase protection at checkout. Packages don't get lost or stolen often but it does happen occassionaly. ELKIE we will not cover any compensation or replacements for packages that left our warehouse but never arrived at the destination. The customer is responible for filing all claims with ROUTE or starting an investigation with the PO or UPS if a package does not arrive.

Do you accept returns and exchanges?

Yes. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. We accept returns on any item in their original condition with their original packaging (dust bag included) within 30 days of the delivery date.

Any item that appears to have been used will not be recieve a full refund.

All return mailing fees should be paid by the customer. All returns
are subject to a 8% restocking fee.

We do allow exchanges! Return shipping of your orignal purchase should be paid by the customer, ELKIE will cover any additional shipping fees to get you your new item. To start the exchange process you can email us at

Do you offer a warranty?

Elkie & Co. provides a one year warranty on all bags. The warranty date begins from the date your order was delivered.

Depending on the individual situation, we will either send a replacement bag or pieces to replace the damaged area of your bag. If the current style is no longer available we will offer you something similar or store credit in the original amount paid.

If warranty is filed within the first 30 days or delivery, we will provide a return shipping label for you to return the original bag. Otherwise, the damaged bag does not need to be returned.

The warranty includes any manufacturer defects such as broken zippers, hardware malfunction, stitching coming undone, material flaws etc.

The warranty does not include any accidents or intentional damage. Such things may include but are not limited to, stains, spills, accidental cleaning, treatment or kids creativity πŸ™ˆ

For all of our international orders we will cover $50 USD to have your bag repaired. We will not send a full replacement bag. Proof of receipts and service is required.

Original proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims, even if it was gifted to you.

Warranty is not valid on any final sale items, or items won through a promotional giveaway.

How do I care for my bag?

For all microfiber leather bags you can clean the exterior with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap if needed.

To clean the interior you can do so with a damp microfiber cloth and mild detergent. For all bags with a removable interior linning you can wash in the washing machine in a lmesh laundry bag. For best results wash on a cold gentle cycle. Hang to dry.

What is microfiber leather?

Elkie bags are made with a premium cruelty-free vegan leather called
Microfiber. Microfiber leather is the most eco-friendly of all leather
alternatives created without any harmful chemicals or substances. It has
a lot of similar characteristics to natural leather, however better
physical & chemical performance. Because of superior performance it
will not scratch, peel, tear, chip, or fade over time. It is also the
lightest weight of all real and faux leather options- creating a
lightweight bag. Microfiber leather is typically used in car interiors
and furniture because of its durability. It is in common for microfiber
leather to be used in the handbag industry because of its higher price
point– however we have worked hard to create a product that will
withstand the test of time and have priced our products similarly to

What does ELKIE stand for?

People often ask us what is the meaning of the name ELKIE & Co. Elkie was inspired by my four daughters: (E)mma (L)ydia, (K)ate, and (I)vy (E)vans. As my inspiration, I named the company after them.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship our products all over the world. Additional shipping costs will be applied at checkout. International orders typically take 1-2 weeks to arrive. I highly recommend purchasing ROUTE protection at checkout in the rare case your package gets lost along the way. We are not responsible for any additional custom or duty fees.

How does AfterPay or ShopPay work?
